The course is ideal for Raft Guides, Boat owners, Mountain Rescue, Fire and Rescue, Ambulance, Police, RYA Power boat instructors and anyone using commercial grade inflatable boats.

Course Information :
A classroom/ workshop based class aimed at equipping stores personnel and waterrescue or safety teams with the knowledge and practical skills to inspect and
maintain their water rescue equipment. The course meet the requirements of CFOA
Inland Water Technical Group and Defra‟s FRNEP who have identified particular
need for equipment inspection and maintenance.
Course Content includes :
- Introduction to Fabrics used on Construction
- Safety and Precauctions and COSHH
- Glues and Solvents
- PPE and Tools
- Cleaning and Replacement of Inflation Valve
- Cleaning and Replacement of Pressure Release Valve
- Repairing minor holes in PVC and CSM
- Operational Checks
- Drop Stitich Fabric Construction
- Cleaning and Storage of Inflatables
