WRS Open Evening for Local Rescue Teams

Although we moved into our new unit in April 2017 we have  been rushed off our feet keeping up with orders and the rigours of work! To put some names to faces and display our products we hosted a WRS and Bull Rafts open evening event on the 10th of August.

The lure of Linda's amazing Bean burgers bagged what seemed like the whole of Bay Search and Rescue in full brigade with their new Font line Toyotas recently outfitted and supplied by Vantage Motors. Bay Search and Rescue are well known for dealing with very testing rescues in Morecambe bay on the quick sand, so great to have them with us.

Bowland and Pennine Mountain Rescue Team arrived in force, having already meet with some of the team in the past, it was great to share thoughts over a ginger beer. The team are regularly on the River Lune site doing swift water rescue training and responded to the recent Floods in Cumbria plus performing some epic rescues by all accounts.

The night was spent talking all things rescue and we look forward to growing on these relationships in the future.

A huge thank you to the teams that attended such as Mike from Borders Water Rescue Team and to our Friends at Cave and Canyon, also to our WRS friends for giving us a hand on the night.

See you all again soon.
